Project Goals

The primary goal of the WZCC–IZYN English Empowerment Program is to strengthen English communication skills among Iranian Zoroastrian youth, enabling them to participate confidently in international Zoroastrian events, webinars, and exchanges. The program seeks to remove language barriers, increase youth visibility on global platforms, and nurture future leaders capable of representing Iran’s Zoroastrian community in international initiatives.

Project Structure

 

  • Target Group: Iranian Zoroastrian youth (ages 18–35+)
  • Duration:5 months (12 online sessions, Fall 2025: August 23 – October 1)
  • Frequency: 2 sessions per week (90 minutes each, total 3 hours weekly)
  • Format: Online via Zoom or Google Meet
  • Curriculum Content: Conversational English, public speaking, vocabulary building, cultural dialogue, and Zoroastrian topics in English.
  • Instructors: Jinaz Mistry, Kurush Dalal, Firuza Khan, Aryan Khosravi
  • Moderator: Parisa Foroudian
  • Participation Requirement: Students must attend at least two international webinars (IZYN, WZCC, BaHumata, FEZANA, NAMC, etc.) as practical engagement.
  • Final Projects: Participants select one of five thematic areas (Religion, Culture, Tourism, Entrepreneurship, Global Networking) to create a final article, pitch deck, or multimedia project.

Expected Results (Outcomes)

  • Improved English proficiency among Iranian Zoroastrian youth.
  • Increased participation of Iranian youth in international Zoroastrian webinars and conventions.
  • Enhanced confidence and public speaking ability.
  • Stronger connections between Iranian and global Zoroastrian communities.
  • Creation of cultural, educational, and entrepreneurial English-language content (articles, videos, projects) for publication or presentation through IZYN and WZCC platforms.
  • Development of a new generation of globally engaged, English-proficient IZYN members.

  • Collaborating Organizations: FEZANA, BaHumata, NAMC, and other global Zoroastrian bodies offering webinar platforms or mentorship.

Long-Term Vision

  • Administrative Support: Outreach, registration management (volunteer-based).
  • Certificates and Digital Materials: Minimal cost (digital only).
  • Teaching Assistants: Voluntary roles.
  • Estimated Initial Budget: USD 500–1,000 (for software and minimal operational costs)
