Captain Percy Meher Master is a distinguished Zoroastrian leader and entrepreneur. Born in Porbandar, Gujarat, he pursued his education at Rajkumar College, Rajkot, and St. Joseph’s High School, Mumbai. After graduating, he embarked on a successful career in the merchant navy, rising through the ranks to become a Captain.
In 1983, Captain Master ventured into entrepreneurship, founding the Master Group of Companies. Through his visionary leadership, the group has expanded into various sectors, including shipping, logistics, transportation, and hydropower. Renowned for his philanthropic endeavors, he has served as a trustee for several charitable trusts and contributed significantly to social causes.
Captain Master’s accomplishments have been recognized with numerous awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award at the All India Maritime & Logistics Awards and the Outstanding Zarathusti Entrepreneur Award from the World Zarathusti Chamber of Commerce. His dedication to the Zoroastrian community and his exceptional contributions to business and philanthropy have solidified his position as a respected and influential figure.
